Deniz Koyu

His course to become a musician was set at the tender age of five when he began to learn the piano. It didn’t take long until he discovered his enthusiasm for synthesizers and drums, getting inspiration from artists such as Depeche Mode, Daft Punk, Kraftwerk or Cassius. It is no surprise he followed suit, spending his pocket money on all the second-hand synths and drum machines he could find. Through his teenage years, Deniz spent his days DJing and editing his favourite tracks using small tape recorders and sampling what he could.

His first remix was for Atrocite "Only You” which became an instant success, keeping its position in the top ten of the German dance charts for a staggering nine weeks. Today, after seven single releases and countless remixes for names such as John Dahlback, Culcha Candela or Jean Elan, he is well known in the international house club scene. His remix for Yenson “My Feeling” was another success, going straight into the top ten of the German Dance Charts!

His latest single release ”Lose Control“ has evolved into a big house anthem in the clubs around the globe with support from Laidback Luke, Norman Doray, Joachim Garraud, Albin Myers and many more. Now his follow-up “Time Of Our Lives” is just about to be released, featuring vocals by Shena who became famous with her hit single “The Weekend” by Michael Gray and the response has already been enormous.

So stay tuned and watch out for some more secret weapons to come from Deniz as this year is not over yet!

Misha Moor

To have the world’s best DJs and producers play your record is no mean feat. How’s this for an impressive fan base? Moby, Armand, Tiesto and Guetta. Just to name a few of the mixmeisters who have played Micha Moor’s electro house single ‘Space’ in their own sets. Indeed the track shot into the stratosphere of club culture, reaching number one on all the relevant international dance charts and topping Germany’s Beatport listing for weeks running.

Micha Moor’s followup singles ‘Close Your Eyes’, ‘Tonight’, ‘Learn To Fly’ and ‘Break My World’ were also chart favourites, each nestling nicely in the German top ten and burning dancefloors the globe over.

Not only with his singles, but also with his remixes Moor keeps the banging house coming, such as his remix of The Beat thiefs & Suzee X featuring Peyton’s ‘Feeling Nina’, quickly tagged ‘hot download’ in Roger Sanchez’s weekly radio show ‘Release Yourself’. Other remixes you’re bound to have heard in clubland include Culcha Candela´s ‘Ey DJ’, MYPD’s ‘You’re Not Alone’, and Niels van Gogh’s ethereal ‘Dreamer’.

Moor’s latest strike ‘Keep on rising’, along with the well know house-voice Terri B! is going to be a big one for the dancefloors again. Early support comes along from well known names like Tristan Garner, Mischa Daniels, Dimitry Vegas & Like Mike, Jean Elan, Jerry Ropero and many many more. Furthermore, Micha Moor is an internationally renowned DJ, forever choosing new courses in his DJ sets, and boasting a technique not two, but three CD decks. During the past years he has toured Australia, Brazil, Portugal, Russia, Croatia, Indonesia, Israel, Columbia, Tunesia, France and Greece several times over. And he’s set to do them all again soon.

From his solo productions to his bootlegs and covers to his highly sought-after remixes, D.O.N.S. studio output is an ever impressive slew of crafted gems for the dancefloor.

An accomplished remixer, D.O.N.S. has applied his talent to remix tracks such as John Dahlbäcks ‘Everywhere’ and ‘Blink’, Greg Cerrones ‘Invincible’, Chuckie ‘Aftershock’ and the hugely popular single D.O.N.S. & DBN ft. Kadoc ‘The Nighttrain’. His collaboration with soul legend Gloria Gaynor on ‘Supernatural Love’ and his smash single ‘Somebody Else Guy featuring Jocelyn Brown’ both went on to conquered both radio playlists and international dance floors around the world.

As a producer D.O.N.S. has grown to become one of the scenes most in-demand house producers having leant his remixing skill to the likes of Bob Sinclar, Dirty South, Roger Sanchez, and most recently Erick Morillo & DLG’s, ‘Where Are You Now’ for Subliminal Records. With such a demand for his music, his releases have featured for everybody from Universal, Kontor records, BigCityBeats, AM:PM, Hed Kandi and Ministry of Sound, whilst finding regular wide reaching support from the likes of Tiesto, Pete Tong, Eric Prydz, Sasha, Judge Jules, Paul Oakenfold, and Paul van Dyk.

The instinctive diversity of his music means his releases are as comfortable achieving commercial success up the charts as they are rocking clubs in more underground settings. Tracks such as ‘Pump up the Jam’, his cover of Michael Jackson’s ‘Earth Song’ and more recently his chart damaging remix of ‘Together – Hardcore Uproar’, have earned him extended support from the likes of Radio 1 Drive time and MTV, whilst more club focused releases like ‘You Used To Hold Me featuring Terri B!’ and ‘Breath Into Me’ be seen in the playlists of anyone from David Guetta and Bob Sinclar to Erick Morillo and Steve Angello.

In 2008 he was voted “#2 Best foreign producer” and “#2 Best DJ “ by the readers of French clubbing bible OnlyforDJs, a head of artists like Deadmau5, Armin van Buuren, Eric Prydz and Calvin Harris. Other accolades include ‘Pump up the Jam’ being voted by Mixmag in 2005 as the “2nd best tune of the year”, sandwiched between Mylo ‘In My Arm’ and Audio Bullys ‘Bang Booty’, and more recently his single ‘Big Fun’ being voted for by DJ Magazine (2008) under the 25 best cover versions of all time.

Besides his heavy DJ and busy production schedule he still finds time to have a hands-on approaching managing one of the EDM scenes most exciting and forward-thinking labels; Kingdom Kome Cuts Records. He is also an active international ambassador for HIV/AIDs charity Dance4Life; a role he shares alongside artists such as Tiesto and Fedde Le Grand.

With his debut artist album schedule for summer 2010, a reedit of his world wide smash single ‘Drop The Gun’, new singles such as D.O.N.S. & Shahin feat. Seany B (voice of TV Rocks #1 smash ‘Flaunt It’) and ‘D.O.N.S. feat. Terri B! – Keep On Singing’, plus a handful of productions lined up for imprints in Sony, Toolroom and Azuli, on top of remixes for the likes of David Vendetta, The Real McCoy and Booty Luv, 2010 is set to see another sizzling year for the D.O.N.S.

Mikael Weermets

In the modern era of dance music, Sweden has done for house music what the Netherlands did for trance and Germany for techno. From electronic titans Eric Prydz, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello to rising talents such as Avicii, Dada Life and Adrian Lux, Sweden has arguably produced some of the scenes most exported performers in recent times. The awareness of these artistsʼ has given rise to a new generation of grassroots talent and one such name that is hotly tipped to follow in the same footsteps as his predecessors is Mikael Weermets.

His first foray into the world of dance floors and house music came at the tender age of 19. Since then he has gone on to become one of his native homes most revered young djs, attracting house-praise with both his technique abilities behind the CDJs and his experimental jack beats style that fuses chugging deep house with the more progressive, groove based side of Detroit techno.

The past five years have been something of a maturing period for the youthful Gothenburg born dj. In 2007 he reached the finals of SMC (Scandinavian Music Convention) competing against household names like Eric Prydz, Axwell and Stonebridge. That same year he was voted ʻBest Swedish DJʼ in Megamind.se annual Most Popular Nordic DJ Poll; beating the likes of Ida Engberg, John Dahlbäck and Adam Beyer.

2007 also saw Mikael take up a post working for one biggest radio networks in Scandinavia - The Voice, & their nightclub tour. In early 2008 he was headhunted by Energy (NRJ) radio to work as a resident Dj for the ʻNRJ club night tourʼ, a residency that saw Mikael perform alongside some of the scenes most profiled names that included David Guetta, Tiësto, Roger Sanchez, Joachim Garraud, Justice, Laidback Luke, Style Of Eye, Morgan Page and Chris Lake.

By the end of 2008 Mikael was also working as a resident tour dj for Ministry of Sound performing at many of their international events throughout that year. 2009 stood to be the first year Mikael stepped into releasing music, what came during those 12 months was a string of early releases for standout imprints such as Vicious Grooves, Superstar, Kontor Records, Spinnin Records and Le Mans Recordings. The early success Mikael had achieved with his production didnʼt go unnoticed as support for his music came from a string of heavyweight djs such as Roger Sanchez, Tiësto, Sander Van Doorn and Bob Sinclar among others. Mikael talents as a producer were also picked up by Cuepoint TV, who voted him part of their end of year feature special ʻ5 most up and coming producers in the worldʼ.

Five years on and Mikaelʼs looks in strong form to make the leap into international territory having just signed a publishing deal with German imprint Kingdome Kome Cuts; a deal that alongside four original tracks will also see three co-writes with label boss and chart busting producer D.O.N.S featuring vocals by Gloria Gaynor, Andy P & house superstar diva Terri B!. Additionally Mikael has remixes slated for Erick Morillo on Subliminal, Rene Amesz and Baggi Beeggovic on Sneakerz Muzik, St Johnʼs Dance on Universal and many more. Further supporting his rise to prominence this year is his swelling tour diary that already has Mikael completing a nationwide tour of Sweden, before jetting off to complete debut dj excursions of Canada, France, Australia, Netherlands, Latvia, Germany, Brazil and Argentina
